Auckland Netball Special Awards

Each year Auckland Netball takes nominations for special awards so that we can recognise the people within the Auckland Netball community who dedicate their time and share their passion for the game and those who have shown excellence in netball throughout the season. Nominations open in August of each year with winner’s being announced in the following months.

  • Life Membership Award – A minimum of 15 years’ service shall normally be required for a Life Membership Award. The holding of a Service Award is a pre-requisite for a Life Membership Award.
  • Service Award – A minimum of 5 years’ service to the Centre shall be pre-requisite to a nomination for a Service Award
  • Philip Hope Volunteer Of The Year Award – This is an annual award that recognises an individual member for their volunteer efforts over the year from December through to December. It is acknowledged that many individual’s efforts are the result of several years’ commitment and involvement so while a nomination is made in a particular year it does however recognise the total contribution.
  • Laser Premier Club Player of the Year
  • Vicki Hearfield Premier 1 Player of the Year (Secondary School)
  • Centennial Premier 2 Player of the Year (Secondary School)

Nomination forms will be made available here when nominations are open.
