AGGS Premier Netball Coach Position

Auckland Girls’ Grammar School is looking for a Premier Netball Coach for the 2018 season. The role would begin in Term 1 with Netball Trials and conclude following UNISS and Nationals in Term 3 or the October Holidays.

We are looking for a passionate coach with a proven background in coaching. The successful applicant will also be expected to take a leadership role in the school’s netball trials and assist in the development of our other netball coaches. The position reports to the Director of Sport and has working relationships with the Netball Co-ordinator and Senior A Netball Coach.

Diocesan School for Girls are seeking Netball Coaches for 2018

Netball Coaches Required
Diocesan School for Girls are seeking enthusiastic Netball Coaches for Years 7 – 13 Senior School teams, including their Premier team, for the 2018 Netball season.

• Epsom location
• Coaching qualification preferred, but not essential
• Passion for Netball required

Diocesan School for Girls is a high performing independent Anglican School with an outstanding reputation for excellence in all aspects of achievement.  With state of the art educational and sporting facilities, the School provides a unique environment where girls can achieve excellence in a wide range of academic, cultural, sporting and spiritual activities.

From April to September coaches are required to attend weekly afterschool trainings, with games on weeknights or Saturday mornings (depending on the team coached). The time commitment for each team coached will amount to approximately 4 hours per week. Preference will be given to applicants with a current coaching qualification, relevant netball coaching experience and a passion for the game. Coaching workshops will be provided free to Diocesan School for Girls Coaches commencing with the Foundation Coaching Award. Coaches must be willing to complete this award prior to the season, which commences in May 2018.

With a large number of students playing from Years 7 – 13, Netball is a high participatory sport of choice at Diocesan School for Girls. Their  aim is for students to reach maximum potential at local and regional levels as well as continuing to maintain high levels of participation in forthcoming years.

The School also provides generous support, resources and very competitive terms and conditions to encourage coaches to reach their highest professional standards.  Coaches will enjoy the use of excellent facilities and become involved in the Diocesan Netball culture.
