Elevate your career as a Marketing Co-Ordinator with Auckland Netball! 

This part-time opportunity (20-25 hours per week) perfect for individuals wanting to kick off their marketing career, a change to their current role or returning to work with a few years of experience. Contribute to a dynamic team and make a real impact on New Zealand's netball scene.  A background in netball is preferrable.  Start date end of January / beginning of February 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and manage all social media platforms
•    Maintain the company website ensuring content and images are relevant and up-to-date
•    Monitor the annual budget
•    Coordinate the print advertising including brochures, flyers, and signage with the designer
•    Track advertising campaigns and monitor results
•    Co-ordinate surveys to be sent out
•    Take photographs at key events

Qualifications and Skills:
•    A relevant Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Communication, or equivalent practical experience.
•    Strong organisational skills, juggling multiple tasks with ease.
•    Highly motivated, with a creative and intelligent approach.
•    Excel in social media management and content creation, sharing our passion for netball

MAGS PREMIER NETBALL HEAD COACH 2025

Mount Albert Grammar School is looking for a suitable and qualified person to be the head coach of our Premier Netball Team in 2025. Netball has had a strong history at the school where a number of former students have gone on to play for ANZ Franchises and Silver Ferns as well as various international teams. The Premier Netball Team regularly competes in the Auckland Secondary Schools Premier Secondary Schools Competition, Auckland Club, UNISS and the New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships.

Person Specifications:

  • Strong communicator and people skills
  • Experience in managing people and implementing programmes.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships
  • A team leader with the ability to give clear direction to others.
  • Organised and able to share information readily
  • Self-motivated and able to report effectively both in written and oral form.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching the team throughout the College Sport Season and at the Regional & National Tournament.
  • Select management and the coaching team.
  • Select a panel of selectors to attend the trials and select playing squad for the season.
  • Present a vision and plan that resonates with the “MAGS WAY” and the schools aspirations to management, players and whānau at group meeting.
  • Preparing the team in trainings, camps, establish Individual & team goals to play in competition.
  • Plan the season which includes a focus on individual skills and team tactical variety and development.
  • Effectively builds and maintains long term networks and relationships i.e. Director of Netball, Director of Sports.
  • Liaising with the sports department on any team updates and organisational needs.
  • Working within the school and competitions rules and regulations 

The suitable person should have the following:

  • Inspire our students to drive their own development and pathway.
  • A strong knowledge of netball through playing and/or coaching experience.
  • An ability to relate to teenagers
  • An ability to develop a strong team culture relating to the MAGS way

The successful candidate will need to commitment to at least 2 or 3 trainings a week starting in January 2025. Planning for the season in December 2024. The coach also will need to be available for all pre-season and competition games starting in April. The coach should also be available for the UNISS Regionals in September, Secondary School Nationals being held in October.

Mount Roskill Grammar School – 2025 Netball Coaches

Mount Roskill Grammar School is a large, co-educational secondary school in Auckland. We are proud of our diversity, academic excellence and our values in action - manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and tūmanakotanga.

We are looking for a premier team girls netball coach, as well as a junior coach.

Our successful applicant must be student led, have excellent interpersonal skill, uphold our school values and have strong netball coaching experience.
